Around a year ago we were delighted with 'Touchy Feely' our full Rives range promotion and today we want to bring back those memories!

Rives has always been known for its traditional textures and colours that project elegance and sophistication. Our last addition to the Rives collection was Rives Laid and we wanted to create a promotion full of contrast and versatility, displaying the different textures and shades combined with premium printing techniques. The results were simply fantastic!

At B&F, we thought we would do things a bit differently this year to show our customers how much we appreciate them for working with us, but at the same time to give back to the place we all call home, our beautiful Aotearoa!

That’s why on behalf of our customers, we have donated native trees that will be planted all along New Zealand with the help of our friends from Trees That Count. These trees represent your part in growing and protecting New Zealand for future generations.

B&F has been delighted to deliver kiwi value to the New Zealand market for the 91st year and together we are now making our native forests bigger while mitigating the effects of climate change!

At B&F, we are eco-friendly oriented, therefore we support and celebrate accomplishments from our suppliers and customers that have a positive impact in the long run for our planet, that´s why we are thrilled to share with you an amazing initiative that Lecta, our supplier of Eurotak, has been implementing for the last year. They have developed a plastic-free wrapper for sheet products. This means that B&F is delivering to our customers Eurotak products in a new recyclable wrapping that facilitates its recycling process, minimizing the environmental impact and reducing its associated waste management costs. This solution will help Lecta further reduce 94.5 Tons of CO2 emissions and waste disposal of 27 Tons of plastic per year, being a fantastic achievement for the environment.

The bottom line to all our customers is that all the Eurotak products that we offer to the NZ market are maintaining the same quality by Lecta but in more sustainable and efficient packaging, and that is great news for all of us.

With less plastic and more paper, we're all better able to protect our products and our environment!

During the period of COVID-19 level 4 alert, B&F will be open in its capacity as a member of the supply chain to a designated essential service. We have reduced our service levels to only that which will be required to supply these essential services.
 
To maintain these levels we are making the following changes to our normal operations;
 
Placing orders with B&F:

1. Our phones lines, website, and emails are open as usual. As the first point of contact please email orders to sales@bfpapers.co.nz where possible.
2. In accordance with Government Directives, we are only able to supply stock to Essential Services. Please send with your first Alert Level 4 Purchase Order a letter confirming that your business is an Essential Service.
3. Your B&F Sales Representative is available by phone or email.

 
Auckland:

1. The Auckland warehouse will be open with reduced staffing to cover demand for essential services.
2. There will be a single Auckland city truck service each day. It will depart from the warehouse each day at 9:30 am and service each of our customers in Auckland. The cut-off for orders for this service will be 8 am each day.
3. Other transport links, Daily Freight, Road Runner, the Couriers will remain in operation as usual.
4. The slitter rewinder will be in full operation to cover the demand for essential services.
5. The Auckland office will be closed with staff available remotely.

 
Wellington and Christchurch:

1. The Wellington and Christchurch warehouses will be closed, however, we are on call for customers who need to access stock for essential services.
2. Both offices will be closed with staff available remotely.

 
Please bear with us as we adapt to these challenging times and work hard to keep the supply chain open whilst reducing the risk in line with the Government's guidance.
 
We will update you if these service levels have to be amended in the future. Stay safe.

After the Prime Minister’s announcement, B&F Papers will be reopening on Tuesday, April 28th for all safe (not just essential) businesses in a contactless way. Our customer service staff and sales representatives are available immediately to take orders for delivery on Tuesday onwards. Orders will be shipped in the order they are received, so to allow us to keep a high level of customer service to you, please contact your sales rep today or tomorrow to help us plan for timely deliveries.

Sadly we won't be able to welcome any visitors on site for the foreseeable future, but we have new measures in place to make sure we can keep processing and delivering orders in a safe way.

We are pleased to announce our strategic partnership in New Zealand with Jet Technologies. Effective immediately B&F are the sole distributor of Jet’s high quality portfolio of laminates and films. We have invested significantly into an Atlas Titan SR800 Slitter Rewinder which is the only two-metre wide dual shaft slitter in NZ. This will allow customers to enjoy standard and custom widths alongside prompt delivery of high quality slit rolls. Call our representatives now to discuss your lamination and film requirements.

The Rives range is taken from its traditional roots and shown in a refreshing contemporary design. The same way that a tradtional form of music recording is the preferred choice for contemporary music now, we have created beautiful album covers using Rives Design and Rives Linear, and 'vinyl' produced using Cocoon Silk, with spot matt and gloss sealer to create the recording tracks.
