B&F Papers are committed to being an environmentally responsible company. Our Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certifications are only some of the steps we have taken to provide you with paper that has been sourced from well managed and sustainable forests. All our warehouse locations are purpose built with the emphasis on natural lighting and water conservation. We go to great lengths to recycle our paper off-cuts, as well as our ream and pallet wrapping. All our pallets are returnable and are used many times. There are two sides to every story, paper supports the environment in so many ways. Click to visit the Two Sides website and see the story for yourself. |

By choosing paper as your media for communication you are taking steps towards supporting your environment. If paper was invented today it would be hailed as environmentally friendly and an affordable means of communication. B&F Papers has taken steps to provide you with choices, and to ensure that you are informed of the environmental credentials of your paper. We have a full range of environmentally sound papers. From Cocoon Offset a FSC certified 100% recycled paper that ticks almost every environmental box, from being collected carbon neutral to using absolutely no chlorine at all in its manufacture. Through to our commodity art paper Neo that is FSC certified from a well managed forest and is elemental chlorine free. FSC & PEFC are chain of custody (CoC) certifications we carry so we can supply to you products certified by these bodies as made from well managed or sustainable forests. At B&F Papers we are proud to announce that our sponsorship of baby Kiwi Whiturau over the past year has been a great success. Our little girl turned out to be the fattest chick in her run! She has successfully been released back into the wild at Ohope where her Dad is from. We are now continuing our support towards the team at Kiwi Encounter. Meet our new addition – Springbrook. The snapshot here is when Springbook was just five days old. Springbrook also comes from the Ohope region. The egg arrived at Kiwi Encounter on the 9th September and weighed 369.2g. The egg hatched on the 21st September with no problems, and the kiwi bird weighed 309.5g. It's hard to tell if Springbrook is a boy or a girl at the moment. Once Springbook reaches about 1kg it will be released back into the forest in the Ohope region. We will keep you posted on the outcome.
